Mix & Match Colours

Traditional fixed braces that go on the outside of your teeth are a super way to get a brilliant smile, as long as you don’t mind being seen wearing them.

Luckily most kids have no problem with that. In fact, braces seem to have become a bit of a fashion accessory — which might have something to do with kids changing their colours when they have them tightened.

There are lots of colours to choose from and friends love to match up with each other or “theme up” for calendar events — how about black and orange for Halloween, red and green for Christmas or pink for Valentine’s Day? Of course, if your child is in a sports team they can sport the team colours for the big game.

They will need their brace adjusted every month or two during treatment so there’s plenty of opportunity for experimentation and, of course, going back to plain old white or silver whenever they want.
