Children’s Lingual Braces
Lingual braces really are another invisible solution for crooked teeth because they can be used in complex orthodontic treatments and are totally undetectable to everyone but the person wearing them.
That’s because they are fitted to the back of the teeth, on the tongue side. They use the same sort of technology as conventional fixed braces, with brackets fixed to the teeth that are linked together by wire and adjusted to exert light pressure.
Lingual braces are reasonably easy to get used to and they can produce excellent clinical results but they may not be recommended in some cases depending on the type of tooth movement required.
Your child’s specialist orthodontist at Crocodile will let you know whether lingual braces are suitable after they have given them a thorough clinical assessment. To book an assessment please use the contact details below.
